Name: Faustus Suffolx
Race: Gilnean Worgen
Dragonflight Alignment: Green Dragonflight
Physique Type: Muscular, Burly
Choice of magic: None (Yet)
Language(s): Gilnean | Common
Character Personality: Faustus is a fairly gentle man, crude in his behavior when amongst only himself or around close friends. He prefers to solve matters pleasantly, and only resorts to violence when it is most appropriate.
He eats like a pig, and doesn't much restrain his table manners. Although disgusting to most others, those that can sympathize will realize a mild closeness to him. After all, who needs restraint when you've got a good shank of mutton to enjoy?
He does not seek trouble. If anything, he looks to help those around him. If it is within his power to fix an issue, he's willing and able.
Interest(s): As of right now, he's an adventurer. He's trying to seek a purpose in life, after finding the remains of his family in Gilneas. He has little to live for.
Minor spell(s): N/A
Prestige spell(s): N/A
Backstory: Faustus had been an aspiring nobleman lad of the house Suffolx since their earlier years as an upper-class family within Gilneas. Managing a minor fortune earned through the property of farmers and general workers, they were well off for a time. Faustus had been groomed for the more public affairs of his household; the handsome face whom shook hands with the right people.
During the attack on Gilneas, security measures set forth by the city's guard became entirely unreliable. In the chaos, through uncertain means to Faustus' current memory, he was bitten and left wounded by the strange creatures setting themselves against the general populous.
He and his family sheltered themselves within their home, set behind the relative safety of a barricade. Throughout the hour, Faustus eventually turned and, in his feral rage, slew every present member of his family. Unsatisfied with simply killing them, he let his hunger do it's work upon their corpses.
Unfortunately for Faustus, occurring so soon after his turning, he was given a momentary reprieve and came to his senses. When he realized what he had done to his family, he curled up in a corner of the gore-soaked room and cradled his pounding head, staring wide-eyed into space as the horrors taking place just outside the door compounded the growing distress within his mind. Set upon by his curse and a shocking insanity, he only knew sweet release as the curse took his sane mind away from him and the inhumanity of his unknowing actions were buried within his mind, along with the majority of his memory.
------------BRIEF HISTORY HURKA-DURK------------
(All history from here on out was done through player interactions)
Faustus awakens in Stranglethorn under the care of a small tribe of trolls. Having been experimented upon by the tribe's witch doctor, they eventually managed to restore his mind's sanity. However, he did not gain capability to return to Human form, or regain his memory.
Faustus stays with them for a time, spoke the bare essentials of Zandali, and eventually left them in order to see the rest of the world, as well as to attempt finding his memory again.
He explores the Eastern Kingdoms for a time, never travelling to another continent, and eventually meets two Draenei. Finding their company enjoyable, as well as the pay-out from serving their menial tasks more than adequate, he stays with them for a few years. Eventually, he and one of the Draenei get into a fierce argument, and he storms off into the wilderness with what belongings he had.
He strays his way to Dalaran and stays within the city for a time. With plenty of money to keep him going, he sticks around for roughly 2 month as a love interest between himself and another Gilnean woman sparks. However, she loses interest and, whilst a friend took him to Darnassus to receive the aid of the Kal'Dorei in restoring all forms of his mind and body, she disappears from Dalaran, never to meet him again.
Disheartened, Faustus remains for a short time, clung to his self-pity. In time, a good friend named Angela pitches the idea of venturing off to Gilneas to see what remains of their home. Their discovery was not pleasant; in particular, the Forsaken had used the remains of his family in an attempt to create fleshy constructs within the courtyard of their estate. Enraged with what he found, Faustus set forth on a minor rampage of vandalism within the immediate area of Gilneas he was in, until losing steam and breaking down into tears. After Faustus and Angela comforted one another on the losses they both harbored, they went their separate ways.
As of right now, Faustus is wandering between Elwynn Forest and the Redridge Mountains, idly distracting himself with minor adventure and the occasional skirmish with wildlife and highwaymen.
(IC) How much does your mortal know about dragons?: For the sake of compatibility with Heartwing, he will know nothing more than the legends and tales of dragons most prominent in the whisperings of the mortal realms.
(OOC) How much does you know about dragon lore?: Heaps!
(IC) Reason to join As things stand right now, Faustus' reason to join will be through aiding a member of the group and, as a consequence, being offered a position of responsibility relevant to the character he helps.
If not that, then a general acquaintancy amongst the group will set him as a character who's around to help where he can.
